For Red Earth2010: Running Water I collaborated with Jemima Charles to recreate a shared memory we had at Blanchicheuse beach Trinidad and Tobago.
Death making its journey from the river to the Sea/Everything returns to the Ocean's embrace.
We witnessed a dead leather back turtle impossibly move through the river while it was shallow and narrow to go back to the ocean. Jemima made the water element in the form of the flags placed on the perimeter of the river and I created a floating form to represent the turtle on its journey.More images can be seen on my Flickr photostream
